12 weeks fully paid leave for the primary caregiver; two weeks fully paid leave for the secondary caregiver Business Development A&D Manager Job Profile Summary Provide technical and financial leadership to the M&A/A&D team within the Business Development team, particularly as it relates to commercial, subsurface, strategic and negotiations aspects of an acquisition.
Provide guidance to Executive Committee (EC) and the Board of Directors (BOD) related to the viability of acquisition candidates and merits of portfolio diversification, ensuring this guidance is consistent with the long-term industry outlooks of the strategy team.
Major
Responsibilities:
Provide proactive, collaborative leadership to the four professionals in the A&D team Oversee M&A technical engagements and valuation Lead Permian economic evaluations of working/mineral interests for the Land acquisitions and trades team Maintain (and improve upon) various A&D workflows including current shale net asset valuations and Permian shale growth model Regularly collaborate and communicate internally with EC, BOD, SPFD, Land, Budgeting and Planning, Corporate Finance, Reserves and Investor Relations Represent Pioneer in negotiations and execution of Purchase and Sale Agreements and related transition needs Grow external network through regular interaction with industry peers, investment bankers and A&D professionals at A&D, SPE and AAPG conferences (among others) As required, assist BD Strategy team in assessing risks and impediments to PXD long term strategic plan utilizing scenario planning and assessing third-party reports on the same Execute on ad hoc projects and financial analysis Performs other/additional duties as assigned by leader of BD and Strategy Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook.
Work
Experience:
8 - 12 years' business/industry work experience in related field preferred.
Preference given to those with exposure to a variety of operations and subsurface roles.
Familiarity of financial modeling/economics, commercial contracts and business drivers critical to the success of upstream oil and gas companies is preferred.
Education:
Engineering or business/land administration degree required but will consider applicable work experience as it translates to an equivalent degree; Master's degree in Business Administration preferred.
Other:
Demonstrated team player with proven collaboration and communication skills.
Self-starter who can interface with a variety of stakeholders and deliver value adding information and recommendations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
