Responsibilities:
The Air Operations Recruiting Staff Assistant provides administrative support throughout the recruitment process.
This position is part of Envoy's Air Operations Recruiting Department and reports to the Manager, Air Operations Recruitment.
The Staff Assistant maintains direct contact with applicants through heavy phone and email correspondence.
Responsibilities will include scheduling interviews, arranging travel, reviewing candidate paperwork, preparing interview files, collecting fingerprints, requesting and processing badges and conducting presentations.
The Staff Assistant will process all pre-employment paperwork in order to prepare applicant files for final selection.
Other general office duties include typing, filing, photocopying, handling mail, updating spreadsheets and computer database entries as well as preparing daily, weekly and monthly activity reports.
Qualifications:
The Staff Assistant must demonstrate highly effective organizational abilities and possess good time-management skills in order to handle competing priorities.
The ability to maintain complete confidentiality and diplomacy in all communications is critical in this position.
A positive and optimistic outlook with a strong work ethic is necessary.
Position Requirements Minimum Age 18 High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of one year of clerical/administrative experience Minimum typing skill of 35 to 50 w.

Ability to learn software applications and apply knowledge Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language Possess the legal right to work in the United States Position Preferences Basic skill level in Sabre (RES) utilizing airport codes and building flight itineraries Previous experience dealing with confidential and sensitive information Additional Position Details Candidates must fulfill a fingerprint based criminal background check to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
Candidates must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, in addition to clearing other airport related requirements, if applicable.
This position may be subject to the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Federal law requires Envoy to determine a candidate's history with the DOT drug and/or alcohol violation(s) or refusal(s) to test before hiring him/her into a safety-sensitive position.
