Provide flexibility in meeting the needs of Automotive programs.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
High School or College Automotive program courses OSHA and automotive certifications preferred Educational Aide I Paraprofessional Certificate High School Diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work well with children Ability to use/learn basic computer applications Knowledge of automotive equipment and general maintenance Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Experience working with automobiles MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Perform duties in the labs as assigned.
Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional exercises as assigned.
Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly work environment Assist in supervising students throughout the school day as needed Assist in the maintenance of administrative records and preparation of reports as required Assist in inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment as assigned Assist in preparing materials/displays for instruction or campus operations Participate in staff development programs, faculty meetings, and special events as required Maintain confidentiality of information EQUIPMENT USED:
Tools, automotive diagnostic equipment, computer WORKING CONDITIONS:
Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:
