Job Description:
Inspection of commercial and defense aircraft parts Calibration monitoring systems for all tooling used for inspection.
AS9102 B First Article Inspection utilizing Inspection Expert software.
Performs layouts and visual and/or dimensional inspection of aircraft machined parts/assemblies to assure parts and or assembled parts comply with engineering drawings and maintains inspection reports and records as required.
Verify chemical and NDT processes applied to parts and their documentation/certification to assure parts were processed to the required specification noted within the engineering of the parts per process requirements.
Works from information such as blueprints, inspection manuals, process specifications, or other data to make determine if parts are in compliance with engineering requirements.
Detects, identifies, and logs unacceptable discrepancies/non-conforming parts.
Stamps or otherwise approves acceptable parts.
Performs surveillance inspection, material review, and other inspection assignments.
Receiving inspection.
Verify and approve received material, hardware, off the shelve items, and their documentation/certification.
Completes or approves records of operations performed.

Qualifications Quality experience in aviation (minimum 5 years) Interpretation of engineering drawings Knowledge of specifications per (Boeing, ULA, BAE, SAFRAN, BELL) Keyence XM Series CMM (handheld Probe Coordinate Measuring Machine) Mitutoyo linear Height gage Mylar/PCM full-scale drawings.
Calipers, radius gauge, mics, ect.

AS9102 FAI reports/Dimension inspection reports Inspection expert software (creation of customers FAI's) & (FAI extraction to Excel) Net inspection (utilizing Inspection Expert software to upload FAI's to customers) Utilization of PDF and CAD software to visually analyze model drawings.
Calibration (using gagepak software) to track all calibrated instruments within the company.
(Some in-house calibration is required) Job Type:
