The tasks and responsibilities of a Co-Pack Production Team Leader are outlined below:
Replenish Team Lead Directs all donor and packaging from the warehousing areas into CoPack floor.
Upholds replenishment of materials for production lines.
Directs the movement of finished goods.
Keeps floor safe, neat and organized.
Responsible for setup material during changeovers and startups (SMED).
Aids with training and developmental efforts.
Production Team Lead Maintain open line of communication with Temporary Staffing Supervision on temporary associate performance issues.
Completes tracking and efficiency reports using Microsoft office products.
Oversees production team members daily functions.
Create line layouts with other team leads for new running items and adjust these based on line modifications through live production.
Audits all processed product to ensure accuracy and quality including line setup verification.
Operation of corrugated baler equipment.
Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are communicated to supervision in a timely manner.
Responsible for setup and layout of product lines.
(ex.
number of temporary resources required, ordering processing specifics).
Maintains efficiencies to uphold scheduled adherence.
Practices SMED techniques for quick changeover.
All Team leads are tasked to the below:
Exhibits safe behaviors and practices in the workplace to include wearing PPE.
Responsible to follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.
Participates in special projects are required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be willing to learn all aspects of the department.
Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
The skills and qualifications of the Co-Pack Production Team Leader are outlined below:
Must have high school diploma or GED.
Must have 1 to 2 years' experience supervising and/or leading others.
Previous experience operating MHE, warehouse and/or packaging experience preferred.
Good written and strong oral communication.
Bilingual a plus.
Ability to use Microsoft Office products (i.
e.
Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong mathematical skills, work requires continual attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team and motivate others to achieve department goals.
Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs.
and up to 50 lbs.
occasionally.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must meet DOT sight and hearing requirements.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules.
Operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to work overtime, both daily and weekends 2nd shift:
