Business Development Manager

Day-to-Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Manager for a leading elevator controller manufacturer.
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the General Manager and be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, opportunities, and orders to achieve sales and revenue targets.
This individual will be responsible for the North US market and must reside in one of the following states:
North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, or West Virginia.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable traveling up to 50% of the time and will be self-motivated and self-directed with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-day functions include:
Preparing and presenting quotes to potential customers and new customers until handover to Account Managers.
Present, promote, and sell products to potential customers.
Proactively leverage professional relationships or contacts to develop a pipeline for new business in area assigned.
Maintain short and long-term business development plans in area of responsibility.
Source and attain contacts through cold-calling, networking, and other relevant business development strategies.
Research and analyze lost customers/accounts and establish and implement recovery strategies to effectively foster retention.
Gather relevant market and competitor information from the field.
Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting.
Generate daily outreach efforts to prospective clients and new clients until handover to Account Managers.
Develop, prepare, and present professional sales presentations at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, conferences, etc.
Closing business sales and working with the customer through the closing process.
Meet or exceed annual sales goals.
Maintain a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.
Responsible for timely and accurate reporting in CRM.
Collaborates with Account Managers regarding established accounts and provides adequate and successful account handover when appropriate.
Minimum RequirementsMust-haves Bachelors Degree from a 4-year college or University.
A minimum of 3 years experience within the Elevator Industry.
A minimum of 3 years prior sales experience with demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
Sales life cycle experience from lead generation through closing.
Experience with lead generation and prospect management Computer proficiency and efficiency with programs including Microsoft Office Suite and other CRMs Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge and experience cold calling.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Ability to travel up to 50% of the time Desired SkillsPlusses:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
