Full Stack Java - Senior Developer
DescriptionCognizant is looking for a Senior Full stack Java Developer to develop customized product for our client teams.
The role is encouraged to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs.
Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/standard methodologies to improve our current services and technologies.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Someone that values the team and maximises the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality! Note:
Candidate needs to be at Irving, TX office for 3 days in a week.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Design, code, unit test, and deploy multi-tenant, highly available software components using a variety of open-source technologies.
Associate will need to be able to analyze requirements, code, and issues to devise strategies and understand solutions.
Actively participate in requirements, architecture, and design meetings.
Associate should be flexible, eager to learn, creative and stay motivated.
Communicate well in person, over email, and via instant messenger within the team and with other development teams to improve quality, advance standards, and handle issues.
Work efficiently and collaboratively in an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) team environment.
Be self-directed and able to prioritize your own workload.
Be willing to learn new skills whether they are directly tied to software development, software testing, server maintenance, or web application release and delivery.
Must haves8
years of experience.
Experience in Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, reactJSStrong technical skills in Java8, Spring Boot, Rest WebservicesDesign experience with JSONExperience in web technologies:
Ext JS, Node JS, TypeScript, API engineering.
Hands on experience with UI, as well as back-end.
Experience in AWS services (EC2, S3)Microsoft Azure Cloud.
