Responsibilities:
oMotivate a team of Applications Support professionals through performance, coaching and setting educational objectives.
oEnsure timely and accurate handling of incident and request tickets within prescribed SLAs.
oEnsure Application Support professionals provide excellent customer service in addition to resolving issues.
oPrioritize projects for the Applications Support Professionals on a scheduled and real-time basis, as needed.
oImprove productivity by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in tools, training, processes, and reporting.
oActs as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
oProvides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.
oEnsures all service level objectives are achieved or exceeded.
oIdentifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.
oWork with a sense of urgency to continually improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
oHandle client escalations, as needed.
oEnsure responsiveness to issues 24x7 working both with internal and 3rd party resources.
Required skills:
o10
years TECH DEV or Support experienceoETL (Ab Initio) Development and/or support experienceIf candidate does not have Ab Initio experience ,they must have Informatica experience to be considered.
oOracle/SQL database support experienceoUnix support experienceoData warehouse application DEV/ support experienceoFinance domain preferredoNeed to have experience with Job scheduling tools like Autosys or Command Center or similarEducation and
Experience:
oBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science and/or related discipline.
oStrong leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
oIndependent thinker with the ability to perform under pressure.
oExperience driving solutions to complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors.
oAbility to work comfortably in ambiguous situations and optimize the teams' resources to attain business goals and objectives.
oExperience in Corporate banking or Financial Services.
oExperience with Distributed Systems - Unix, Linux, Oracle, Cloud, SQL,oExperience with change control methodology.
oExperience with Ticketing systems like Service Now.
oExcellent interpersonal skills.
oMust have a passion for supporting customers.
