A 360-view rotational program that exposes you to the various facets of accounting and finance from corporate accounting, internal controls, treasury to financial planning and analysis.
This is a hybrid position based out of our headquarters in Irving, Texas.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the Accounting and Finance, Treasury, Internal Controls leadership team in a rotational finance internship opportunity Participate in month end close process, prepare journal entries, reconciliations and month end financial statements Provide support on treasury, financial modelling, planning, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, analysis and reviews Gain an understanding of SOX, internal controls, audit processes and procedures Assist with various projects as needed Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Hospitality Finance (in progress) or a similar degree Minimum Junior status Knowledge of accounting and/or finance principles Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and reports) and PowerPoint skills Must be organized with the ability to work accurately in a time efficient manner Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills Ability to participate in a summer internship program of 10 weeks (June 10th - August 16th 2024) You must reside in Dallas, TX during the internship and work a hybrid schedule Salary - $20/hr for 40 hour week/ 10 weeks Recommended Skills Communication Confidentiality Finance Financial Management Financial Modeling Forecasting Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
