Summary:
The Information Services Innovation Program Manager will lead and assist with implementing various innovative initiatives (both clinical and non-clinical) across CHRISTUS based on the organizational strategy.
The program manager leads the Strategic Business Analysts within the Innovation group and partners with Executive leadership and operational teams within CHRISTUS.
Maintain program status, provide frequent program updates, and identify and communicate risks and adjustments to the overall program.
Exercise solid project leadership skills, strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and in-depth analytical capabilities.
Define functional requirements for technology solutions and design and derive transformative approaches for technology systems working with internal service delivery teams and approved vendors.
Develop strategy and help execute innovation culture, including defining, communicating, and inspiring innovation in the organization.
Monitor and report the progress of the various ongoing innovative initiatives to executive leadership.
Lead in developing the Innovation strategy and practice for the teams.
Lead design thinking sessions that empathize with users define their needs, and collect ideas, problems, and opportunities.
Lead Strategic Business Analysts by providing direction and assisting with capacity for new initiatives.
Work with internal/external teams to execute the Design and solution based on business needs.
Work with internal/external teams on proper handoff and commercialization of innovative initiatives Understanding the business strategy, pain points, and market trends and identifying and evaluating technologies will bring business value.
Manage external partnerships with companies that may accelerate innovation and market access.
Organize training on creativity, business models, and prototyping topics.
Educate teams on identifying short projects from an idea to execution.
Coordinate with various Internal IS teams and vendors to deliver the desired solution.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or related field of study (Preferred) Organizational Understanding - Skills to understand and evaluate the practicalities of day-to-day operations and the technology those operations need to function; utilize these to implement new ideas.
Detail-Focus Management - Focus on results.
Need to be resourceful and understand how to connect others to this way of thinking, willing to shift doing things as needed.
Project Management - Familiarity with IT implementation and Agile methodologies; Excellent planning and organizational skills; Project Management experience.
Communication - Excellent written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong Analytical, creative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Operational Flexibility - Skills to think across diverse platforms to form multiple strategies.
Innovative Mindset - Flexibility to rapidly understand business and technology opportunities.
Offer viable innovative solutions for various business needs, managing vendor implementations.
Applying Design methods - understanding design procedures and standards to create prototypes and finished products.
Prior program management experience within the innovation space (Preferred).
Preferred 2
years of leading teams.
Five or more years of healthcare experience leading innovative solutions by gathering requirements, understanding problems, and designing solutions.
Experience producing quality results; experience learning in ways that keep initiatives/projects moving forward by seeking out individuals with the right talent and skills to make things happen.
Experience building processes and programs/practices for individual teams and organizations.
Experience being creative (design mindset) and innovative, both front-end innovation (ideas) and back-end innovation (rapid execution of experiments) to match the opportunities to the needs.
Experience working with Executive leadership, gathering requirements from other business areas (Revenue Cycle, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Clinical, Consumer) organization, and creating design workflows.
Scrum/Agile, and experience leading large/complex implementations.
