Inventory Analyst
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract in Irving, TX.
As an Inventory Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials through the procurement and distribution cycle to meet inventory requirements.
This position requires collaboration with various internal departments, suppliers, and production staff, making it an excellent opportunity to enhance your supply chain management skills.
Responsibilities:
Interact with material planners, buyers, and vendors to manage critical item needs, shipping schedules, forecast information, and expediting.
Develop production and procurement plans using the MRP system to align with sales and inventory budgets while continuously improving the supply chain management process.
Review and input stock numbers, product notices, and engineering change notices.
Perform inventory analysis to identify slow-moving items and excess reserves, providing insights for distribution ideas.
Develop and implement plans for hardware release and changeover to optimize inventory results.
Qualifications:
2
years of experience in an Inventory Analyst/Administrative related position.
Advanced skills in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Complex formulas).
Working knowledge of inventory ordering control systems and supply chain management.
Ability to analyze data and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Familiarity with Engineering Change Notices, Bill of Materials, Purchase Orders, Customer Orders, Physical Inventory, Inventory Analysis, Order Releases, Backorders, Forecasting, and Distribution Center processes.
