Work-from-home days On-the-job training Flexible working hours We are looking for a new member of our College Advising team to help students achieve their educational goals.
The ideal candidate for this position has a background in education and enjoys helping students stay on track with their school work and extracurricular activities.
An experienced College Advisor is adept at communicating with students, parents and teachers and has the ability to provide general advice, application assistance and support.
Do you have knowledge in working with students? Are you looking to help students get into college and pursue their dreams? Do you like creating your own schedule and working in a hybrid setting? Then Class 101 has the best position for you! As Class 101 Irving's Student Advisor you will be working with students grades 6th-12th to ensure they are completing grade appropriate items.
You will also be compensated for any new students you sign up for Class 101.
This job is hybrid and you will need to be able to commute to our Irving location as needed.
Student Advisor Performance Requirements- Meet all training requirements Establish and maintain meetings, parent meetings, and events.
Maintain professional work environment Meet and maintain monthly and quarterly goals Make sure all students meet their deadlines Complete 2 local college visits Customer service.
Follow up with parents throughout the year on upcoming deadlines.
Attend at least one National conference Complete Sales Presentations Organize Online events and participate in Facebook lives Make sure student accounts on CPP are up to date and notes are entered correctly and shared with parents in a timely manner.
Preferable but not required- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting.
Bilingual The student advisor will receive monthly payments based on set responsibilities.
Payments are made to the advisor between the 1st and 5th of each month.
If the 5th falls on a weekend, payments will be made the Monday following the 5th.
Base Pay- $25 an hour for all individual college planning meetings Commission- Full package sale with payment plan-$300 Full package sale with full payment-$700 Job Type:
