Summary:
A meaningful educational experience for a college student to gain valuable experience in their field of study; while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in an enriching environment.
The Intern will gain networking opportunities that include interactions with CHRISTUS leaders and Associates.
The Intern will be provided with a variety of projects to support learning objectives in areas of Clinical Supply Chain.
Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
Pull Market share analysis, using knowledge of Excel and Pivot Tables Assist with Financial Impact Analysis Perform Clinical Supplier Research Assist with pricing tier qualification and tier slotting Assist in preparing slides and presentation materials for clinical and financial evaluation Assists in tracking and reporting on the status of service line initiatives and projects Assist with development of charts, graphs, tables Review supplier proposals Participate in the Clinical Value Analysis process Requirements:
At lease 2 years of college preparation towards major.
Must be highly proficient in MS Excel (ability to do V-Lookup and Pivot tables) Business Planning skills including cost impact analysis Currently enrolled in a College degree program in one of the following degree program; Supply Chain, Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Business Administration PC and Microsoft Office Skills Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively work with others.
Quick learner with attention to detail, high degree of confidentiality and solid organizational skills.
Needs to be resourceful, innovative and persuasive with ability to problem solve and troubleshoot.
