Data Governance Sr Lead Analyst - C14 (Hybrid)

The Data Governance Foundation Sr Lead Analyst is responsible for leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy, and plays a critical role in leading activities to support implementation of the Data Governance Policy/Data Risk and Control framework.
This job requires excellent communication skills needed to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide and influence others, in particular, colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.
Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business.

Responsibilities:
Support key Data Transformation projects across the organization as Subject Matter Expert in data policiesCentral point of contact for incoming information requests as well as reviewing enterprise content related to Data and:
a) analyze impacts, b) communicate with appropriate stakeholders and c) update/align materialsReview Data Transformation materials for strategic editing / messaging alignment; monitor alignment across various stakeholders / docs; grow the editing skillset of accountable execs to align to Data Transformation messaging and strategyGather, action and track to closure all incoming requests and maintain relevant documentation for posterity and to facilitate efficiencyProvide thought leadership and make conceptual connections across all Transformation related Second Line of Defense (Operational Risk Management) and Third Line of Defense (Internal Audit) interactions; draft/review and finalize responses while ensuring consistency with Data Transformation strategy, messaging, and regulatory responsesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10
years of experience, Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering, Risk Management, Regulatory Engagement or related areaCommunicates effectively, develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; able to drive consensus, and influence relationships at all levelsCollaborates effectively by building partnerships and working well with others to meet shared objectivesStrong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills across a variety of stakeholders at different levelsOptimizes work processes by balancing effective / efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement.
Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the big picture while paying close attention to detailOrganizational savvy:
understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret itWorking knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large organizationsAbility to create readable, effective PowerPoint slides for varying stakeholdersEducation:
