Position Description:
This role will be the head of Database Engineering/Administration for the Global Business Intelligence Data Warehouse. Rapid arts (built on Oracle EBS design) & Consolidation of 42 source ERP systems in progress.
Accountabilities:
Administrates the data structure and database schema in MS SQL 2012, required to support the enterprise architecture.
Primary person accountable for the administration of the enterprise data warehouse.
Collaborates with developers in the implementation of source systems integration to the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Data standards and procedures, warehousing, design and development of logical and physical data models and databases.
Index management, integrity, configuration, patching, stored procedures. Responsible for database backup/recovery program and archiving.
Develops implements, administers and maintains data models, database design, and data access and table maintenance.
Resolves database performance and capacity issues and replication as well as other distributed data issues.
Documentation skills for processes and procedures.
Position Requirements:
Required:
Bachelors degree with 8
years experience in the field or related field.
Familiar with standards concepts, practices, and procedures regarding relational databases
Preferable:
Experience with Oracle EBS
