The IMPACT Retail Analyst is responsible for gathering, integrating and analyzing IMPACT project data through graphical presentations and/or reports and recommending changes to address client, customers and organizational business needs. This position partners with the IMPACT Client Solutions Team staff in ensuring that all information and analytical requirements are met for internal and external clients, customers, and the field organization.
Responsibilities:
Build working relationships with IMPACT Client Solutions Team associates to foster cooperation and teamwork on projects.
Communicate with the Client Solutions Team to understand client goals and expectations per project.
Coordinate efforts and communications within the Client Solutions Team to ensure all information and analytical requirements are being met.
Use technology and approved presentation templates to maintain an effective measurement and analysis system.
Develop standard templates and provide benchmarking capability across customer teams and regions.
Partners with the Client Solutions Team in monitoring project feedback and advise them on adjustments needed to ensure validity of results.
Organize and analyze data from all sources, using statistical methods to ensure validity of results.
Create retail analysis reports and presentations for various internal and external clients, customers and teams.
Communicate results and analysis to the Client Solutions Team.
Participate as requested in retail analysis presentations.
Assists in the development of project recaps for internal use in the Client Solutions Team knowledge base.
Perform special assignments as requested.
Qualifications:
Must have college degree or 3
years experience in marketing/retail analysis (or previous experience as an Analyst) with specific knowledge of IRI and/or ACNielsen systems, other data gathering systems and their uses in creating reports, recommendations and presentations.
Must be computer literate with a degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including spreadsheets, word processing, graphics, e-mail, fax ability, database management
Must be able to effectively communicate with others. Must be able to operate a calculator, computer, and a printer, fax machine, telephone and copy machine.
Must be able to make presentations coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
