Software Trainer

Client is searching for a superior trainer to update training materials and teach instructor-led and web-based classes to a variety of audiences both functional and technical. The classes will be for customers as well as internal personnel and will either be held in Clients training room in Irving, Texas or on-site at the customer location. Successful candidate will be a self-guided learner, able to work with minimal guidance and direction to learn the software and classroom techniques, then teach each one in a fun, energetic and engaging manner.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of five years software training experience.
Strong skills in PowerPoint, Word and other software delivery products.
Effective written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to learn new subjects quickly and transfer that knowledge clearly and effectively.
Ability to think analytically when solving issues that arise during training.
Ability to properly manage a classroom and keep the training on topic and on track.
Ability to keep students engaged and interested across multiple days of training.
Ability to effectively communicate complex business software processes.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both in a team and independently.
Ability to exercise patience as a trainer with trainees possessing varying degree of computer knowledge/system skills.
Ability to manage several projects at one time with variable deadlines.
Ability to self-manage time and work independently; deadline and results oriented.
Up to 30% domestic travel will be required.
Experience developing and managing WBT a definite plus.
Job Responsibilities:
Work to become a subject matter expert (SME) by conducting thorough research and building quality relationships with internal and external SMEs.
Integrate yourself into the product life cycles to gather knowledge throughout the process.
Organize and lead multiple day training sessions for all the basic Client software applications both functional and administrative classes.
Demo the products over the web to familiarize customers with new product features.
Help troubleshoot user problems and work with other SMEs to solve the problems.
Relay suggestions or needs of the users to Product Managers and help with ideas for upgrades to the software.
Demonstrate a high degree of skill in communication and positive interaction with internal staff and customers.
Update training materials to include changes and upgrades to software applications.
Work with internal IT to get virtual images reset and ready for each class.
Print, bind and organize all training and student materials and get room setup for class.
Handles multiple tasks and responsibilities with accuracy and within time frame as assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
