Job Description:
This individual will deploy, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and support all VMware infrastructure related servers for the organization.
The Senior VMware Administrator must have experience designing, building, supporting and configuring servers.
This includes:
hypervisor, hardware, storage, networking, automation, vCenter and security.
Work closely to lead other departments to design, build, implement, and support cost-effective secure technology solutions in a project oriented environment.
Manage a shared ticket queue for escalations of virtualization infrastructure issues.

Responsibilities:
Manage and own the design, standards, documentation, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, backups, patching, security, support and upgrade paths for all VMware systems Fix any VMware issues that are escalated to our Virtualization team Manage the design, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, patching, security, support and upgrade paths for all VMware 3rd party systems Performance and Capacity analysis and reporting for VMware infrastructure Develop and maintain processes, procedures and documentation for the build and delivery teams Develop and maintain processes, procedures and documentation for the operational support teams
Qualifications:
Expert knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, VUM, installation, configuration, troubleshooting Strong technical knowledge of two or more of the following:
Vranger, Veeam, replication appliance, vcops, vShield, vCNS, Deep Security, vCAC, ITBM, VCM, HP SIM or SRM Strong technical knowledge of HP Blade Chassis and/or Cisco UCS Strong technical knowledge of hardware configuration, support and maintenance Strong technical knowledge of Networking, Storage, DNS, NTP, SQL, Microsoft Active Directory Proven analytical and problem solving skills Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks for multiple projects simultaneously Some experience with VMware automation, scripting, PowerShell, power CLI or power GUI Some experience with VMware migrations, VMware disaster recovery, VMware backups 4 years of dedicated VMware support experience 8 years of system administration experience Excellent communication skills Attention to detail Qualifications Conditions of EmploymentAll job offers are contingent upon successful completion of certain background checks which unless prohibited by applicable law may include criminal history checks, employment verification, education verification, drug screens, credit checks, DMV checks (for driving positions only) and fingerprinting.
