Purpose and Summary of position:
The position is for an expert in Cellulose Derivatives Clarifoil, to conduct field sales and customer development within the defined territory in the Americas (80% North America, 20% South America). This position will provide a key interface between the customers and company to develop Celanese's Clarifoil business strategies in the Americas.
Report to Global Sales Leader Clarifoil and work with marketing and technical resources to grow the business with existing accounts;
Develop new customers in the region and move customer programs from concept to commercialization;
Responsible for the regions sales strategy: Set clear goals and objectives including sales target for the covered territory;
Responsible for channel strategy: Identify and manage distribution partners to achieve region objectives
Identify and influence end-users in line with strategic objectives for new business development.
Coordinate with company's global and local resources for market assessment and new application development.
Identify key property attributes for specific applications and coordinate with company's technical resources to ensure the product supplied meets customer's needs to achieve company sales goals/budget volumes & prices
Develop knowledge and insight of major competitive threats including competitor landscaping, market share analysis and competitive materials attributes to specific applications.
Sales delivery accountability
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
5-8+ years experience technical or development sales for Cellulose Derivatives
MBA is preferred or higher degree in Business, Economics or a Technical field
Strong experience in new customer identification and development.
Self-Starter able to cold call new accounts.
Be able to formulate an individual value proposition to the specific customer.
Customer orientation with strong inter-personal and negotiation skills.
Ability to identify market opportunities and pull through new developments to profitable sales.
Problem solving and results oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
English as a native language. Spanish preferred
Potential for travel is up to 60%

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
