Responsible for working closely with imaging operations production control to ensure vendor meets production and quality standards. Expedite document workflow. Assure document inventory and production is accurately logged by the vendor. Answer routine questions from staff/vendor to prevent disruption in worklow. Notify supervisor of issues that may affect workflow. Communicate timelines and corrective actions needed to vendor. Work with vendor to meet production SLA's (Service Level Agreements) by guiding them through tasks, directing actions needed, and communicating with project teams. Scan documents on an as needed basis.
Requirements
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English with external parties, including various internal project teams and vendor. Ability to prioritize effectively. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Leverage manual dexterity in use of a PC, phone, sorting, filing, and other office machines. Detail oriented. Working knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security rules. Ability to analyze information and use logic and process to address work-related issues. Ability to perform well in both team and individual environments. Preferred 1-2 years direct experience with electronic imaging, paper file room, medical records, and strong PC skills. Familiarity with medical terminology.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
