Purpose and Summary of position:
Responsibility for timely and accurate financial reporting.
Team with a broad spectrum of management in gathering data to ensure accuracy of filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, press releases and other external reports.
Lead the accounting execution for certain specialized topics (e.g. pensions, compensation arrangements, goodwill and indefinite lived asset impairment review, severance).
Ensure teams compliance with company policy and SOX.
Qualifications
Required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

years senior accounting management experience within a Big 4 Accounting Firm
CPA or equivalent is mandatory, MBA or other Master's equivalent degree preferred
Clear and demonstrated understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting coupled with ability to apply and communicate knowledge.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Highly motivated, reliable, accurate and able to work independently.
Ability to travel on a limited basis (estimated approx 10%)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
SAP experience
Relevant industry knowledge in the Chemicals, materials and/ or manufacturing environments
