Receptionist

Job Summary
The Receptionist will receive and greet visitors to FM. The receptionist has responsibility for answering and routing telephone calls, issuing access control badges as required; recording visitor arrivals and departures. Additionally, the receptionist will perform clerical duties as needed.
Essential Job Functions
Greet all visitors and determine purpose of visit, assure proper sign-in and badging
Advise appropriate personnel of visitor's arrival
Answer switchboard in professional manner and transfer incoming calls to proper person.
Treat all visitors with utmost courtesy and respect
Maintain visitor log (record arrival time, visitor's name, purpose of visit, and departure time)
Additional assignments as required
Education / Experience Requirements
High School Diploma, or GED is required
Minimum of 3 years experience performing receptionist and switchboard operator duties in fast paced environment
Experience using MS Word, Excel and Outlook is required including building spreadsheets for data tracking
Must maintain a professional appearance at all times and have a high customer service orientation
Must be able to speak clearly and professionally
Ability to accurately perform clerical duties with frequent interruptions is required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
