The Tour Manager - Automotive will execute a nationwide mobile marketing tour to manage on-site activation, as well as customer interfacing, training, reporting, scheduling, and other administrative duties.
Our client is a global company within the auto industry.
The Tour Manager - Automotive will be responsible for driving and maintaining a Class A RV and/or large SUV vehicle.
Additional responsibilities include managing the logistic and implementation of the marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
The Tour Manager - Automotive will:
Operate and maintain a Class A RV and/or large SUV vehicle while complying with all DOT regulations/CDL Class A requirementsManage logistics and implementation of an experiential marketing training campaign in an automotive environmentManaging promotional assets, collateral materials, transportation from market to marketConducting training sessions and operation of equipment during event, including booking hotels that provide parking that can accommodate the RV/SUVSet up and break down of all event componentsContribute to post event reporting, photo capturing and analysisMaintain weekly budgets, receipts, reports and supervise team's expense managementBe the main point of contact between account team and tour staff; manage all aspects of program while in marketHaving the ability to work as a FULL TIME employee for the duration of the program while travelingResponsible for all items on equipment manifest and ensuring they stay in good condition throughout tourObserve, evaluate and identify issues while developing solutionsOther job duties as assigned Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor's Degree a plusTwo plus years of previous experience as a brand ambassador and or market manager with the ability to travel 100% of timePrevious mechanical and deep understanding of car/auto technology and the auto industryPrior tour management experience a plusTech savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology gadgetsExceptional written, verbal, and problem solving skillsComfortable communicating with client and customersMust have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a car for extended periods of timeThis position requires that you drive on behalf of Acosta Sales & Marketing, and as such, any DUI/DWI conviction in the past 36 months will be an immediate disqualifier for this positionKnowledgeable and interest in auto industry (engine operations, etc.
)Proactive - you are a self-starter that can assess and plan for contingenciesAbility to be passion for the business - you care about what happens on programs and about all details that are relevant to the success of the programHardworking, energetic, desire to learn event business from ground floor up with a winning attitudeExceptional written, verbal, and problem solving skills, comfortable communicating with client and customers"Figure it out" attitude - you have a keen ability to problem solve and realize that problems will arise - when they do you don't panic!Basic business skills that come easily to you - time management, and communication skills are inherentEffective organization and planning skills - detail oriented with the ability to perform under pressureOutgoing personality - ability to interact with all customers and to cope with differing personality typesValid driver's license and clean driving record - road warriorPrevious data collection and reporting experienceAbility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays (including all event attendance needs and weekly (or more) calls)Preference will go to candidates with Bi-lingual ability in Spanish.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
