Being a Farmers Insurance Agent is a challenging and rewarding venture! Every day, you will be helping people by providing them with the best Insurance and Financial Service needs.
An average day for a Farmers Agent consists of:
Creating your own daily schedule, emailing and corresponding with customers, Calling prospective Clients, Generating new sales leads, Managing new and existing customer accounts, Individual meetings with potential customers, Attending networking & sales events, trade shows & community events, Keeping up with evolving industry trends and product changes, Managing and utilizing social media sites for yourself.
General Requirements:
Minimum of High School Diploma (Associate or Bachelors Degree Preferred)
Sales and/or Customer service experience
Exceptional Communication and writing skills
Highly motivated and goal oriented
Strong organizational, time management and follow-through skills
Being able to manage and juggle multiple projects at a time
Computer proficiency required
Desire to continually learn new products, services and being able to socialize in the local community
Good credit history with no bankruptcies within the last 12 months
A favorable criminal record with no felonies
Bilingual a plus, but not required
Military veterans (We are Military Friendly Employer)
