Responsibilities:
Exciting opportunity for experienced web developer to help drive the migration of a large-scale proprietary software application from Flex to HTML5. Assist in component architecture, performance engineering, product evaluation and support. Translates business requirements into technical design. Evaluates new frameworks and helps with technology selection. As part of a development team, be an active participant in the full software development lifecycle including testing, implementation, and auditing. A very high preference for UI design experience and should be able to implement the designs as specified and build creative solutions when there are gaps in the design and specifications.
Required Competencies and Skills:
o Experience with HTML5 coding and design, including browser compatibility fixes, CSS3, JavaScript
o Experience with web application framework such as AngularJS
o Experience coding/designing for mobile platforms (HTML5/JavaScript)
o Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology and rapid application development environments
o Experience with subversion or other version control tools
o Experience with UI and UX design concepts and best practices
Additional skills which are a bonus:
o Experience with the Spring Framework
o Experience developing and deploying in environments such as Eclipse, Tomcat, WAS
o Experience with Java and/or other object-oriented languages
o Experience working with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
o Degree in CS or technical field or equivalent on the job experience
o Experience with working with Oracle database
o Experience with J2EE, Servlets, etc
Education & Experience or Other Requirements:
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience in similar work environment
Experience: 6

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
