Responsibilities:
o Primary focus will be providing server support and administration to internal and remote customers. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading the virtualized environment with High-Availability clustered server configurations ensure optimal server availability and performance.
o Support SAN disk storage systems to ensure performance and data integrity.
o Manage server backups and restores to ensure data can be recovered in a timely manner.
o Manage 24x7 monitoring of servers and network equipment with alerting systems
o Linux server image development and optimization
o Support and develop plans, as well as strategies for both standalone and virtualized Linux server migrations of hardware and operating systems.
Experience to be successful in this role:
o Considerable experience with virtualization technologies (bonus points for KVM, oVirt, or RHEV)
o Deep understanding of the characteristics of Redhat (CentOS 6.3 and above) operating systems
o Manage SAN based disk storage systems in the multi-terra byte range (80
TB).
o Manage and monitor backups and restores using Bacula for all servers including all (primarily) Linux and (some) Window Servers
o Manage log alerts and resolutions using Splunk, and/or other Log Monitoring tools.
oManage server/application configurations using Puppet, and/or other Configuration Management tools
o Support automated build environment.
o Assists onsite and remote staff with the installation, configuration, and ongoing usability of server computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
o Work to resolve technical problems with server computing equipment and software
o Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment
o Ensure servers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, VPN, application servers, and administrative systems.
o Automating and improving processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, PERL
o Trains and orients staff on use of hardware OS and software applications, as needed.
o Recommends and / or performs upgrades on systems to ensure compliance and longevity.
o Works with procurement staff to purchase hardware and software.
o Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases.
o Assists in maintaining Server, LAN/WAN records in CMDB and, as appropriate.
o Configure and troubleshoot all aspects of the supported operating systems including Linux, Windows and Mac Servers.
o Experience supporting server hardware (DHCP, DNS, setup, configuration, etc.)
o Identify issues and maintain secure systems protecting consumer personal information.
o Must have good oral and written communication skills with attention to details.
o Experience with documentation in an IT environment (i.e., SOX compliance, ITIL)
o Must have good interpersonal skills enabling the individual the ability to interact with people at various levels within the organization. Proven, top-notch customer-service skills.
o Able to interpret user requests and explain resolutions to users in non-technical language.
o Ability to learn and apply new knowledge quickly and effectively
o Good technical writing, presentations, and systems analysis skills. Excellent analytical skills
o Dynamic and flexible. Lead by example, can do attitude.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
