Workday HCM Payroll Consultant
Location: Dallas, Phoenix, Nationwide ; Remote

The Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Workday solution for key accounts. The position will work with the Engagement Manager and Client to ensure that system and business requirements are clearly defined, documented, communicated, implementation and testing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

o Identify and analyze business needs and requirements.
o Create and develop functional designs and specifications.
o Analyze gaps and complete fit gap documentation.
o Lead the Workday implementation process from start to finish.
o Perform testing, deployment systems integration; including, testing, and executing the pilot/implementation/ deployment of new or enhanced hardware or software.
o Setting up and using project management processes/systems across work streams including planning of life cycle of the project, identifying key project activities and milestones, etc.
o Consulting with clients on a variety of data integrity issues.
o Conducting product fit analysis.
o Engage with client project managers, defining client strategies and requirements, guiding clients through the implementation process, configuring the application according to customer requirements, developing system interface and data conversion plans.
o Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients.
o Work with client to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
o Ensure client takes advantage of Workday system.

Experience/Training Required:

o Business Degree in Management or Management of Information Systems required.
o Previous experience working with either Workday, PeopleSoft or other ERP HR/Payroll systems/applications.
o 5+ years experience project managing HCM, Payroll or Financial implementations in middle market type organizations.
o Possess an advanced knowledge of IT design principles, practices, and theory by providing guidance to others in functional design processes, and completing functional HR/Payroll design docs.
o Consulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a software consulting company.
o Ability to develop complex functional designs, including options for technical platforms.
o Working knowledge and language of the following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll.
o Candidate should be able to collaborate with customers to define deployment expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction.
o Ability to coach others in the execution of the testing, piloting, installation, and implementation activities on schedule and within budget, providing expertise when needed.
o Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
o Previous experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company a plus.
o Passion for customer service.
o Travel 25%

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
