Workday HCM Benefit Consultant
Location: Dallas, Phoenix, Nationwide ; Remote

PERM ROLE

The Benefit Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the successful implementation of the Workday solution for key accounts. The position will work with the Project Manager and Client to ensure that system and business requirements are clearly defined, documented, communicated, implemented and tested.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

oIdentify and analyze business needs and requirements.
oCreate and develop functional designs and specifications.
oAnalyze gaps and complete fit gap documentation.
oLead the Workday implementation process from start to finish.
oPerform testing, deployment systems integration; including, testing, and executing the pilot/implementation/deployment of new or enhanced hardware or software.
oSetting up and using project management processes/systems across work streams including planning of life cycle of the project, identifying key project activities and milestones, etc.
oConsulting with clients on a variety of data integrity issues.
oConducting product fit analysis.
oEngage with client project managers, defining client strategies and requirements, guiding clients through the implementation process, configuring the application according to customer requirements, developing system interface and data conversion plans.
oEnsure delivery of high-quality services and products to clients.
oWork with client to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or timeframe.
oEnsure client takes advantage of Workday system.

Experience/Training Required:

oPrevious experience working with either Workday, PeopleSoft or other ERP Hr/Payroll systems/applications.
oCandidate should have an in-depth understanding of corporate benefit functional knowledge
o5+ years experience project managing HCM, Payroll or Financial Implementations in middle market type organizations.
oPossess an advanced knowledge of IT design principles, practices, and theory by providing guidance to others in functional design processes, and completing functional HR/Payroll design docs.
oConsulting experience either as an internal consultant or with a software consulting company.
oAbility to develop complex functional designs, including options for technical platforms.
oWorking knowledge and language of the following business areas: Human Resources, Benefits, and Payroll.
oCandidate should be able to collaborate with customers to define deployment expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction.
oAbility to coach others in the execution of the testing, piloting, installation, and implementation activities on schedule and within budget, providing expertise when needed.
oCandidate must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
oPrevious experience with a major systems integrator and/or an enterprise software company a plus.
oPassion for customer service.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
