Tableau / BI Tool Developer

As a member of North America (NAM) Nokia Tooling team, this role will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and delivery of business intelligence solutions. Candidate will need to collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify key business requirements to enable enterprise BI/Performance Management strategy. Will ensure technical quality, accuracy, thoroughness, efficiency and adherence to timelines during the delivery of the solutions.
Responsibilities:
Work with business teams to gain a good understanding of their business, analytical, and reporting needs, including the identification of critical metrics and KPIs
Experience in building and maintaining core Tableau reports
Ability to utilize internal and external data sources to answer business and design questions
Hands-on development of rich and complex information dashboards, reports and visualizations using Tableau software
Create BI and data warehouse design patterns, designs, standards, and templates
Build and prototype dashboards to provide insights into the operations of a business function
REQUIREMENTS:
3 years of experience in reporting and analytics
3 years- experience designing and developing dashboards using Tableau Desktop for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards
Strong SQL skills
Experience with Power BI
Experience with SSRS (SQL Reporting Services)
Expert level skills in building highly used & adopted custom reports and dashboards
Expert level skills in Schema design and Dimensional data modeling
Expert level ability to analyze data to identify deliverables, gaps and inconsistencies
Experience working as an administrator of Tableau Server or another self-service reporting tool
Experience in the maintenance and scheduling of Tableau Data Extracts using Tableau Server and the Tableau Command Utility
Working knowledge and experiences in data design / dimensional data modeling
Detail oriented, uses sound judgment, and is proactive and self-motivated
Requires a thorough, detailed and creative individual with strong analytic, conceptual, and problem solving abilities
Requires a complete understanding of the business intelligence development life cycle including the ability to conduct interviews and gather the needs for desired outcomes for the BI solutions being built
