Pharmacist Audit Lead - Remote

The Pharmacist Audit Lead is responsible for managing the analytics function that supports all lines of business and clients.
Essential Functions:
Collaborates with executives and other department directors/managers to identify and meet data information and analytic needs
Develops procedures and quality control measures for conducting project analytics, reporting and statistical sampling to ensure consistency among organizational components and compliance with contract and stakeholder requirements
Implements data collection strategies, and analytic methodologies for internal and projects that ensure the analytic integrity of all such projects
Assists in new business development, as required.
Attends internal meetings to discuss organizational data analytic capabilities
Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
Other Functions:
Performs other functions as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Access
Excellent technical aptitude of relational databases and PROC SQL, SAS, SPSS or other statistical programming software
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Proven management skills
Possess a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in a cross-functional driven matrix
Strong communication written and verbal communication skills
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment
Ability to communicate and exchange information
Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data
Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)
Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals
May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs
Certifications: (Required/Desired)
Licensed Pharmacy Professional RPh./Pharm.D
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Economics or related field preferred.
Master's degree preferred
Minimum Related Work
Experience:
5 years related management experience required, preferably in healthcare
Medicare and/or Medicaid experience required
3-4 years of pharmacy experience; ideal candidate will have worked in the field in a pharmacy setting.
