Business Data Analyst

The Data Analyst isresponsible for supporting Operations in data analysis, budgeting, forecasting,ensuring statistical accuracy and integrity of business segment metrics inaccordance with company policies and relevant standards.

Responsibilities:
Supports business management by providing timely and relevant Operational metrics for the business segment.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of business segment and/or support functional metrics.
Conducts timely and relevant variance analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
Works effectively with Operations staff and supervisors to generate operational forecasts and metrics.
Develops, maintains, and improves reporting deliverables.
Monitors key performance metrics across operational areas on an on-going basis.
Assists as needed to perform other related duties and special projects and ad hoc reporting, as required.
Accepts other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, andExperience
Strong capabilities in modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
Detail-oriented, excellent work ethic, positive attitude.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects effectively.
Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Superior ability to self-manage and prioritize workload.
Strong experience of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use. Demonstrated ability to learn new accounting software.
Prefer experience WinSurge and WinsTrack or any other Laboratory Information System
Established leadership skills and ability to occasionally direct subordinates.
Education,Certification/Licensure, and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree inBusiness/Finance required or equivalent work experience.
Four to seven year's experience in Anatomic Pathology preferred.
