POSITION
Summary:
With minimal supervision, provide technical production support services by performing a variety of complex tasks/projects for operations within the Master Servicing Division.

DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Act as Subject Matter Expert for operational business areas.
Work in partnership with management, peers, and staff to develop and implement business strategies to achieve departmental goals.
Train staff on SBO 2000 loan servicing system and operational processes.
Provide servicers and investors with servicing expertise and guidance to assist with timely resolution of compliance issues.
Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of system enhancements.
Serve as system and process expert and liaison between operations and IT.
Assist with monitoring Key Risk and Performance Indicators (KRI's, KPI's, and L2 Metrics) to ensure staff execution against established thresholds.
Troubleshoot any issues that arise that fall outside of stipulated guidelines, and work across business lines to ensure prompt and accurate resolution.
Coordinate the annual review and update of operational workflows and procedures for the business.
Perform special projects with moderate to high risk exposure.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Moderate
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Comprehensive knowledge of residential loan accounting practices, and various remittance methods and their effect on investor cash flows.
Motivated self-starter with proven ability to multi-task
Solid technical skills and possess the ability to effectively work with business units, IT, and across department/division lines to achieve desired outcomes.
Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented, and possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Effective presentation, training, and problem solving skills.
Ability to test and implement system changes in an independent manner.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Aptitude to interpret contracts to quickly identify compliance issues.
Strong mathematic, analytic, and problem solving skills.
Working knowledge of loan servicing operations and how the functional business areas work together (i.e., custodial cash and default management, etc.), preferred
Knowledge of San Francisco and New York Federal Home Loan Bank pledge requirements, a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 5 years equivalent mortgage loan servicing experience in an investor reporting capacity.
Minimum 2 years SBO2000 master servicing system experience, preferred.
Knowledge or experience in system programming or design, a plus.
Bachelor's degree in General Business, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent knowledge, a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
