Senior Director, Architecture (Intake Technology Solution Lead)
Epsilon is seeking a Senior Technical Director with a proven track record in designing, delivering, and managing complex marketing technology projects involving both database and interactive technologies. Candidates should have a strong grasp of database architecture, data modeling, and system integration. He or She should have experience in joint application design development, benchmarking, capacity planning, project and resource management plus cross-functional team training. He or she should also have solid grasp of marketing concepts and can display the insight and know how to apply technology to meet client marketing needs. In addition, the candidate should have strong communication (written and oral) skills and able to collaborate with client and Epsilon internal teams.

Responsibilities include:
Strength in partnering with business stakeholders, management, teams and customers to identify needs and guide the delivery of cost-effective, high-performance information technology infrastructures and application.
Research and propose cost effective technical solutions to address business challenges such as improvement of development, processes and governance standards.
Performing resource management, forecasting, leadership, and teambuilding.
Provide guidance to client service team on technical capabilities, staffing and infrastructure needs. Proactively identify and address project risks.
Empower and guide team through the Software Development Life Cycle.
Enforce operational excellence and compliance.
Managing the quality and timeliness of update and deliverables.
Ensure that production procedure, change management, documentation and control are followed and continuously enhanced.
Managing teams (including direct, indirect and matrixed) and project timelines for build and manage environments.
Environments include client solutions supported by the division
Must be able to lead team without supervision.
Participate in new business development opportunities by contributing to pricing and solution design.
Provide technical leadership in the organization.
Manage career paths by coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports.
Contribute to design and continue improvement of our marketing platforms/solutions.
Qualifications:
Strong client interfacing background required
Proven ability to mentor reports and team members
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
10 years' experience with software implementation from requirement through design, development and client acceptance
10 years' experience in relational database design, administration and support
Demonstrated experience leading a team of between 20 individuals
Strong knowledge of J2EE technology stack including building web portals for public internet consumptions.
Strong knowledge in performance tuning of a enterprise application, across all tiers like infrastructure/web and DB.
Strong knowledge of ETL, Business Intelligence and Campaign Management tools and applications.
Experience with multiple RDBMS (Oracle, Netezza, SQL Server, etc)
Ability to multi task and project manage in high productivity environment.
BS in Computer Science or related discipline; strong project management and organizational skill
