Responsible for all technology components of diverse, moderately complex IT projects
Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct project teams and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are completed on time.
Develops and manages detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports, risks and issues plans.
Communicates with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates.
Has shared responsibility for project budget and planning.
Uses Planview effectively (experience with competitor product)
Understands financial concepts that apply to project management
Manages projects across a complex organizational structure.
Contributes to formulation of strategies for IT project leadership and other functional areas.
Senior level (5 years of project management experience and 5 years industry experience) in a Project Leadership role
Microsoft Office, including Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint Skills
BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in IT /Mgmt
PMP or PMMI Certification ( Level 2 or 3)
Demonstrated knowledge and application of industry acceptable project management principles
Detailed understanding of System Development Life Cycle methodology
In-depth knowledge of the business and/or technology functions that will be supported
