Application Program Interface (API) Developer Irving, TX 75063 6-month contract to hire Brooksource is looking to hire an API Developer to work with one of our clients in the Retail & Convenience industry.
Our client is currently building out a brand-new digital innovation lab and are looking for passionate technologists to build cutting edge web, mobile, and other customer facing applications.

We are seeking a candidate that shows immense passion for their field of work and desire to constantly learn and evolve as a developer.
Responsibilities:
You will be working in a highly collaborative Digital Innovation Lab building mobile, web, and in store focused applications from the ground up Working on developing new/pre-existing internal/customer-facing applications on the client's platform as well as maintaining operations as they migrate to cloud Ensure that all mobile, web, and other store focused application can communicate effectively with each other Modify existing application API's to ensure they are responsive and delivering all requests to provider and back to user Execute full product lifecycle to create reliable and flexible applications bound for customer devices Collaborate with other Engineers, Creative/UX Designers, Scrum Masters, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Architects.
Participate in developing the best technical design and approach for new products or technologies.

professional years of experience in API Development Hands on experience with Node.
js Experience designing and implementing API's from the ground up as well as understand overall solution design Experience working in an environment developing applications from inception to production Exposure to various cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science is preferred Strong analytical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies in a short amount of time Ability to work with large and diverse technology teams Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate within and outside of your team BENEFITS OF WORKING WITH BROOKSOURCE:
