Applies experience and knowledge to perform administrative assignments for projects/programs; and clerical assignments. Has a broad understanding of how administrative assignments contribute to organizational activities. Responsible for compiling, tracking and analyzing data; providing computer assistance; schedule meetings; prepare correspondence; providing written or oral explanations of organizational policies while coordinating the implementation of new office policies and systems.Receives visitors and callers. Ascertains the nature of the visit/call and directs individual to the appropriate office/team. Prepares various reports and composes/prepares routine correspondence such as letters and memorandums. Reviews outgoing correspondence for grammatical and procedural accuracy. May serve as time and attendance point of contact for the office.Ensures travel authorizations and other travel documents are prepared accurately and comply with regulatory guidelines. Serves as government Funds Certifier purchase card and enters transaction/procurement actions.Utilizes a variety of software programs to accomplish assignments. Demonstrates considerable independence in planning time and coordinates only as needed with the Office Manager, Frontline Manager and Administrative Officer to prioritize assignments. Provides files and records management oversight. May provide recommendations to improve work processes. Resolves most problems and work issues without assistance.Position will be required to gather AVS/AFS international statistical data and reports and participate in analysis utilized in the preparation and issuance of managerial responses to bargaining unit actions.Work is reviewed periodically, typically through status reports and at completion, to ensure policy compliance and alignment with the requirements of projects and/or work activities.Performs other duties as assigned. To qualify for this position at the FV-F, FG/GS-9/10, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-E, FG/GS-7/8 level. Specialized experience may include but not limited to:
using various office automation software systems/programs to create letters/memos, reports, spreadsheets; experience in performing a wide variety of administrative functions with little to no guidance/direction from supervision/management to include records keeping, travel administration, time and attendance management, organizing and managing files and records; scheduling meetings, and other administrative functions in support of an office. Applies experience and knowledge to plan and perform administrative assignments for projects/programs.There is no education substitution at FV-F level.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
